Pasas means “transition” in Spanish. This is a reference to our mission - we embrace, invite, facilitate change in a research-based and hands-on way that honours the process and everybody involved. We, Pascal and Saskia, founded this organization in 2009. Since then, we have been invested into helping organizations and leader navigate change and build resiliance.
We are seasoned & practice based consultants who know that the real work is done together with the people on the floor. So that is what we facilitate: doing the work.
Our clients are mainly (60%) in the semi-public sector, where we work with government and educational institutions, as well as social organizations. The remaining 40% are private organizations (banks, energy, consulting firms, IT, start-ups & scale-ups). We work closely with Decision makers, HR departments, Boards of Directors and Leaders in organizations when change is happening or when change is required.
Pascal Van Loo brings 28 years of experience as a change management consultant, leadership developer, and organizational designer. His work spans internal leadership roles and external consulting, giving him dual perspective on what organizational transformation really requires.
Pascal has developed change management practitioners through masterclasses and professional training programs. His approach combines organizational psychology theory with hands-on change management practice.
As author of Het Ronde Vierkant (The Round Square), Pascal introduced the concept of hybrid change management—integrating structure with flexibility, strategy with humanity, efficiency with creativity in organizational change initiatives.
Saskia Szepansky has 20+ years of experience as an executive coach, team facilitator, conflict mediator, and organizational psychotherapist. She helps leaders and teams navigate complex human challenges beyond technical solutions.
Her work integrates leadership development, organizational relationships, and systemic change, focusing on authentic presence, difficult conversations, conflict resolution, and team building.
Saskia's approach is direct, warm, and perceptive, addressing unspoken tensions and patterns to foster genuine transformation. She partners with high-performing leaders and teams, blending strategic thinking with psychological insight, and is known for clarity and presence in challenging situations.
We practice the art of transcending polarities and opposing forces, both as organizational experts and as people.
MAKING CHANGE HAPPEN
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We help organizations hold what seems impossible to hold together.
Strategy and empathy. Structure and flexibility. Speed and thoughtfulness. These aren't opposing forces—they're the tensions every leader must navigate. Most change management approaches ask you to choose. We help you integrate.
We call it hybrid change management—the ability to be both clear and adaptive, both strategic and human. It's what separates transformation that sticks from initiatives that fade. We find the right balance between standardization and customization. We place autonomy and freedom as low in the organization as possible, while allowing hierarchy to do what it does best.
Here's what guides our change management consulting:
Real organizational change happens when you stop choosing between structure and people, and start designing for both. When you can be decisive and open. When you build frameworks that breathe.
We don't bring cookie-cutter change management models. We look at your organization with fresh eyes, see the patterns you're too close to notice, and help you design transformation that fits your reality.
HOW WE WORK
OUR APPROACH
Your organization is unique. It needs solution and support that is offered in a flexible, tailored manner. That is is why we do not work with pre-defined programs or interventions. Instead, we create an offer based on your situation and question. We work with you, alongside you but only offer the help that you really need.
Our methodology has become more and more refined over the years. We can quickly assess and understand your situation and suggest what approach is most promising and fits your situation.
